Overview
The QX Bridge-Type Grit Extraction System is designed for efficient removal of sand, gravel, cinder, and other settled particles from aeration grit tanks in urban sewage treatment plants and waterworks. It effectively transports the mixture of settled solids and wastewater to adjacent sand discharge channels. An optional oil and slag skimming attachment is available to meet specific customer requirements.

Structure & Working Principle
This grit removal system features a mobile bridge structure with a pump-assisted suction mechanism. During operation, the machine is electrically controlled to travel along the tank.
When moving forward, the skimmer blade collects and directs floating slag into the skimmer hopper.
During reverse travel, the skimmer rake lifts above the water level to prevent residue backflow.
Simultaneously, the submersible pump extracts settled grit from the tank bottom via a suction pipe and conveys it to a grit collection tank. The material is then directed to a grit classifier for further processing.
This reciprocating operation ensures continuous grit extraction, discharge, and surface skimming.

Packing and Delivery
1. Waterproof packing with the international export standard by 20ft, 40ft, 40hp container. Equipment Fittings, Electric Motor and Power Cabinet will be packed in Wooden Case or Iron Box. Other Equipment will be packed by Color-Stripes Plastic Cloth.
2. The whole plant machinery size are large as normal, so we will use Waterproof cloth to pack all of them. The motor, gear box or other easily damaged parts, we will put them into box. We have a professional shipping department, they will try their best to save your container quantity.
